In its capacity as a data controller, this describes the methods of collecting and using the user’s personal data agreeable to the relevant legislation governing the processing of personal data as may be amended, replaced or re-enacted from time to time.

Surfing data in general, the visit and consultation of the Website does not imply collection and processing of y our personal data. The processing of users’ personal data when visiting and consulting the Website and application is limited to the so-named surfing data, namely the data whose transmission to the Website and logging into the application is implicit in the functioning of the systems in charge of the managing of the Website and application and in the communications protocols peculiar to the Internet. Personal data voluntarily provided by the user WomConnect will collect and process data voluntarily provided by the user upon interaction with the Website’s and applications functionalities, for example when a user opens an account, registers their details and other initiatives carried out by WomConnect, requests information and/or sends feedback to WomConnect, etc.

Personal data that WomConnect collects and processes including name, and contact details such as phone number, occupation, e-mail address and further possible information of an optional nature provided by the user.

To respond and manage requests for information and/or materials of the user, to re-issue log in details, and the obtaining of IP addresses in database for a user-friendly experience, this does not contain any sensitive user data as WomConnect will be logging user activity on server end via the WomConnect website.

(b) Purposes and methods of processing

WomConnect will process the user’s personal data, after receiving the user’s specific consent, for the following purposes: 1. To identify and obtain recommendations from your trusted social network on products and services supplied by local businesses

To allow users to connect with other various users through sharing a variety of specifically chosen personal information (name, email address, gender & occupation) if the user does not provide the information and data referred to above, WomConnect will not be able to carry out the requested service. c) Nature of the provision of data and consequences of any refusal to respond the user’s provision of his/her personal data for the purposes outlined in point .2 is strictly necessary in order for WomConnect to comply with its contractual obligation or to comply with applicable legislation. In the event of refusal to provide the required personal data, the above-mentioned activities may not be carried out. The user’s provision of his/her personal data for the purposes outlined in point .1 is voluntary and denial of providing personal data or limiting the amount of information given by the user in said circumstances will still allow WomConnect to carry out its contractual obligations and on the provision of the services, products or information requested as above specified.
